Script - Preliminary Task
This is a script I created for the actors within my preliminary video. I did this primarily to use a guideline. I did not want to produce a scene which is specifically scripted as it would take away the essence of a natural flowing conversation. With the creation of my story board and the creation of this script, they both work in unison to create an effective vision of what my video must portray. Based from my script and storyboard we took into consideration; the angles and range of shots, how the speech should sound (what tone of voice makes it sound natural), and with the mis-en-scene in mind, what costumes would they wear depending on weather conditions.

Having a script did that limit you do you think to if you went off a conversation without one? Although it could be easier, it may not flow as well?
ReplyDeleteThank you Matt. In my opinion, it was more successful having a script than not having one at all as the script allowed me and my actors to have a guideline. I did not force my actors to stick specifically to the the script, as this may hinder the natural flow of the conversation, however it gave my actors a good insight to what kind off thing they have to say.
